High Power Rifle On the third Sunday of each month the SCVRC High Power Committee provides an opportunity to learn how to participate in National Match type events. Affiliated with the Civilian Marksmanship program (CMP), this participation may be used to "qualify" to purchase the famous M1 Garand Rifle from the CMP. Anyone interested in participating in this program is strongly advised to contact one of the instructors listed below PRIOR to attending: Dean Peterson 408-972-8537 With advance notice (no later than the Friday prior to the second Sunday) a full compliment of essential equipment (including ammunition) will be available. We do not routinely make this equipment available without prior arrangements.
